Odisha Pavilion Wins Gold Medal at IITF 2025 in New Delhi

Odisha has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the first position and winning the prestigious gold medal at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 held in New Delhi. The accolade, awarded by the India Trade Promotion Organisation during a special ceremony on Thursday, highlights the state’s exceptional presentation and innovative exhibition standards on a national platform. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed immense pride in this accomplishment and extended heartfelt congratulations to Team Odisha, stating that the recognition significantly elevates the state's reputation across India and internationally.

The IITF 2025 witnessed participation from 31 states and Union Territories, with Odisha emerging as a standout performer in the overall display category. This victory marks the fourth consecutive year Odisha has been honoured in this segment, and notably, the state clinched the gold medal twice in 2025 alone. The Information and Public Relations Department efficiently coordinated the state’s presence at the event, facilitating 26 stalls representing nine different government departments. The pavilion highlighted Odisha’s vision for a prosperous future by 2036 and aligned with the national initiative ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.’

During his Delhi visit, Chief Minister Majhi also toured the Odisha pavilion, appreciating the impressive showcase of the state’s rich art, heritage and cultural traditions. He encouraged the participating teams and emphasized the significance of such global platforms in promoting Odisha’s cultural and economic strengths. The Odisha pavilion’s gold medal win at IITF 2025 reflects the state’s commitment to excellence and its growing prominence as a vibrant hub of culture, innovation and development.
