2 Govt ITI Students From Odisha Receive ‘All India Topper Award 2025’ From PM Modi

In a proud moment for Odisha, two government ITI students, Pramod Dalpati and Jeetendra Pradhan, were felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 4th Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh (Skill Convocation Ceremony) in New Delhi. The prestigious ceremony recognized their outstanding performance in the All India Trade Test (AITT) 2025, earning them the coveted ‘All India Topper Award 2025’.

The Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh is an annual event that celebrates excellence among vocational trainees under various schemes including the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS), Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS), and Flexi MoU Scheme. It honors meritorious students who have demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and performance in their respective trades. Jeetendra Pradhan, aged 25, hails from Ganjam district and is a student of Government ITI Hinjilicut, Ganjam. He secured the top position in the All India Trade Test in the Electrician trade, showcasing his technical expertise and commitment to excellence.

Similarly, Pramod Dalpati, a student of Government ITI, Phulbani, topped in the Electronics Mechanic trade. Their achievements highlight the growing emphasis on skill development in India and the rising standards of vocational training in Odisha. The felicitation by PM Modi at the national-level ceremony underscores the significance of vocational education and skill development in shaping India’s workforce. This recognition is not only a personal milestone for Pramod and Jeetendra but also a matter of pride for Odisha, inspiring other students to excel in technical education and skill-based careers. Odisha’s education authorities and ITI institutions lauded the achievements, noting that such accomplishments enhance the visibility of state talent at the national stage.
