Odisha Cyclist Swasti Singh Selected to Represent India at Asian Track Cycling Championships in Philippines

Swasti Singh, one of Odisha’s most promising cycling talents, is set to represent India at the upcoming Asian Track Cycling Championships scheduled to take place in the Philippines from March 25 to 31. The 25 year old cyclist has earned this prestigious selection through consistent performances and achievements at both national and international levels, bringing pride to her home state and the country.

Swasti Singh has previously made history as part of the Indian contingent that secured its first ever medal at the Asian Track meet held in Delhi four years ago, where the team clinched a bronze medal. Her contribution to that milestone remains a significant moment in Indian cycling, showcasing her potential on the international stage.

Continuing her impressive form, Swasti delivered an outstanding performance at the 77th Senior National Track Cycling Championships held in Rudrapur in December last year. She was crowned the best female cyclist of the tournament after winning three gold medals and two silver medals, further solidifying her reputation as one of India’s top cycling athletes.

With her selection for the Asian Track Cycling Championships, Swasti Singh carries the hopes of Odisha and India as she prepares to compete against some of the best cyclists across Asia. Her journey reflects dedication, perseverance and excellence, making her participation a proud moment for Indian sports and a significant step toward achieving greater success on the international cycling stage.
